Operation Christmas Child collects shoe box gifts— filled with toys, school supplies and hygiene items—and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way. For many of these children, the gift-filled box is the first gift they have ever received, and may be the only gift they receive this year!

In addition to collecting shoe boxes from the community this year, Grace Christian Fellowship will be hosting packing parties. Our church will be collecting specific items*—NEW small toys, school supplies and hygiene items—and having our youth groups pack the boxes during National Collection Week!

There will be large Operation Christmas Child boxes located near the GraceKIDS check-in area. Each box will be labeled with the specific items we are collecting. Between now and November 11, you can drop your items in the labeled boxes. If you choose to make a monetary donation, we will use that to offset the cost of $9 per box. Donations should be made out to “Samaritan’s Purse”.

If you would like gift suggestions for your box or donated items, organized by gender and age, visit samaritanspurse.org/occ.
